I've tried to run vampire set on cape town, and while there's plenty of African mythology, and local intrigue to theoretically make an interesting campaign, it just feels wrong.

Does anyone else play in their home towns, and make it work for them?

If so, any suggestions on how to make using your own town a positive, and considerable thing, I would love to hear it.
