Changing my masters degree midway through? Is this even a thing?
Ok, so for some context I went to NCSU through the online special education masters program, got halfway through and could not finish it due to moving out of state and therefore my tuition would have tripled. I will (hopefully) soon be moving back to NC and have realized that I don’t want this degree anymore lol. I was looking at the degree for management and marketing analytics, which I’m sure wouldn’t transfer much, if any, of my credits from my previous degree path. Ideally I want this degree to work for a nonprofit benefitting animals, so I would also love to be able to take some type of animal related electives, but given this degree path and my educational background I have no idea if this is even possible either. I know these are all questions for an advisor, but I am waiting to know for sure when I’d be able to start to begin that process, but I just wanted to know if anyone has been in any situation remotely similar to mine and how it worked out.
