Best possible team composition and potential investment options for Nicole?

Best possible team composition and potential investment options for Nicole?

Hello everyone. So, I really want Nicole. I've kinda been skipping banners a decent bit and saved up some. My general idea was get Nicole and then save up for Snezhnaya characters. However as she drew closer and her kit and whatnot got revealed I realized I'm not quite sure what team she'd really fit into. Below is my current character collection, I can provide extra info if need be. I really only have three major questions:

  1. What's the best team to put her in given my current lineup and is it worth it?
  2. Assuming I wanted to construct her best team or at least one of her best teams who are the best people to pull for?
  3. Is Durin a must to get the most out of her?

I would love to avoid breaking the bank here and be able to save for Snezhnaya if possible, but I'm willing to rest my savings if it means getting a good Nicole team online.

Thanks in advance.

So. I was very much looking forward to the rotation because I was honestly just excited to see if the game would have some fundamental shift. When it was revealed that it was gonna be the same size as usual and a lot of the cards shown seemed a bit mid I got worried.

But holy crap did I not have a reason to be. I dabbled a bit with the new Amulet Haven cause it was the one I could make easily without needing to craft stuff and while that was fine, I bit the bullet at the start of this week and made the Rally Sword deck and hoooooooooooooooooly crap.

I actually get to make boards that don't get answered as a given. My opponent actually has to sit there and invest time thinking and resources to most effectively WEAKEN my board, never mind out it. I can actually just play the game resource oriented and the damage just emerges naturally from game and board states. I'm never desperate for some damage gimmick top deck to be my "win con" since there's so many cards that can either do some damage or just make boards that will end the game. There's no (or rather very few) hyper lethal OTK cards and when it's turn 12 and I'm at 10 HP and my opp at 3, I have 5 cards and they have 2 I'm not sitting there sweating going "Oh no what's the topdeck gonna be, is he just gonna win from here ???" (sure it can still happen but it feels so less frequent). All the decks feel much better to play against (even Abyss for how good it is, is honestly not that annoying. I just find it a bit sad it's finding success with what are imo somewhat lame cards). And oh, the deck is just a joy to play because it just has so many cool toys to play with that are all fun and somewhat support each other while being... as consistent as SW allows (Lyria search so many of the good cards). There's the two Gildarias, there's Seofon as a super cool payoff for stuff and cards he synergizes well with. There's just good spam cards for Rally. Caesar is almost always useful. Noel is a cool little versatile tool. Sandalophon and Seofon (and other copies of Seofon himself) work together like a charm. It's just so much genuine synergy and a bunch of cool and fun feeling payoffs and most of it isn't just a damaging gimmick either.

I don't know if this is just a lucky coincidence or a shift in game design but I'm genuinely overjoyed and hope we stay the path.
