I'm a Grade 11 STEM student, and at our school, I've always heard of downright horror stories from my g12 acquaintances about General Physics and the G12 workload(though about the workload I've heard conflicting info on it. Some say towards the latter second sem its more chill, others say 1st and second sem grade 11 is like heaven compared to 1st and 2nd sem g12, Maybe it really just comes down to the student, who knows)
To be honest, it’s all just making me more determined to not only succeed but to also thrive. My plan is to look up the curric guides for the subjects and just study as much of the material as possible beforehand (No idea if this will work either. I'll have to check with my g12 friends about the info I find on this)
There's 2 months of summer break left.
- Is that enough time to build a solid foundation?
- What specific habits or study tips helped you guys get through Gen Physics, bio, chem, etc with honors?
- Are there any "traps" or bad habits I should avoid when dealing with specific subjects?
I'm ready to put in the work, I just need a roadmap and some words from experience. Thanks!
