Struggling to make a good sounding progressive house super saw stack right
I'm working a progressive house track that would mirror the sonic pallet of something like Tiesto's 2012 chasing summers track. i have around 5-6 synths in the stack. A bass line at the bottom doing sub freq from 20hz to 250hz.,As for the synths.
Mid Synth 1 = Mono
Mid Synth 2 = Stereo
High Synth layer 1 = Mono
High Synth layer 2 = Stereo
Piano Layer for extra transient response
Yet after all of this, added some eq and multiband sidechain compression along with soothe2 , the highs come out either weak and thin( ive tries saturation but ) keep getting harsh hi freq clashin.Any Advice on how i could solve this?
5/10/26 EDIT: I took a bit of everyone's advice and applied some white noise to the layers and stripped back the highs on the synths, then applied some Xfer OTT on the bus channel. it helped but still sounds odd and My ears are killing me from hi freq fatigue, was hoping someone could point out where I'm screwing up. Its the Chorus section and the pre chorus build that feels off.
