I have my Niederlassungserlaubnis biometrics appointment on 21 May. They only asked me to bring a photo and the fees. I already submitted my full application with all documents back in March.
My company is planning to issue my termination shortly after that. They already postponed it once (it was originally planned for March), so I’m trying to understand the impact.
For example: if I receive the termination letter on 29 May, with my last working day on 30 June, would this cause any problems for my Niederlassungserlaubnis? Could it affect the approval or issuance of the card?
I’ve read that in some cases the permit is considered valid from the date of the appointment. If anyone has had a similar experience, I’d really appreciate your input.
