Apologies as I just have a summary and this is my first ever post.

Wife 30F went to a dermatologist a few months ago about a cyst near her groin they basically said it was nothing and did not do a biopsy on it. Only did an injection for it. Now she is in the hospital had to get surgery because it was infected and tunneled. She now has a wound that is slightly larger than a lemon. She has been in the hospital for a week. The first day she was in the hospital she had to get MRT'D because she was going into septic shock. I'm only asking if this is something that could be a case. Doctors said it might take months to recover from this. So she will definitely be losing wages and have some disfigurement from it.
