Earlier today I (28 weeks, first child) started feeling kinda shitty- my lower back and abdomen were hurting almost like moderate menstrual cramps and without warning I had to throw up. Right after that I got a relatively long (1-2 minute which made me nervous) Braxton Hicks followed by a crazy hot flash so I called my doctor just to confirm it wasn't early labor or anything else serious. I increased my water uptake since I suspected dehydration was part of it and took a hot shower to relieve my back. Doc still hasn't returned my call, since then I threw up once more but immediately felt better afterwards and the pain subsided into my usual aches. Baby has been active as usual today so my question is should I be concerned? I've heard tale of other women who've experienced some pretty bad nausea during their BH, but since this was my first go with it and the first contraction was so long I'm not sure if this is normal or not. It was a little hard to tell but I think I had two contractions over the course of an hour, and no signs that make me suspect preeclampsia or anything. TIA I am feeling normal now, just a little shaken up and wanted to see if it's cause for concern.

Any mommas out here with central heterochromia? I'm wondering what odds I have at passing it to my son, I'm pretty sure mine was a freak mutation so I'm doubtful it'll happen but we'll see! Dad has dominant blue eyes and I have green and brown on my side of the family so I feel like anything could happen lol
