Made a Japan coloring book because everything out there was either kawaii or single-style — here are some pages
Every Japan coloring book I found was either cute kawaii characters or a single aesthetic — ukiyo-e patterns, cherry blossoms, zen gardens. Nothing that covered the actual diversity of Japan.
So I made one. 55 illustrations across the full spectrum — samurai armor, ramen bowls, koi fish, Harajuku fashion, snow monkeys, conveyor belt sushi, pagodas, kokeshi dolls. Each page has a short educational caption explaining the cultural context.
Single-sided pages, no bleed-through.
It's on Amazon if anyone wants the full thing: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GW8YKCNG
Would love to hear what the coloring community thinks of the illustrations and its depiction of Japan.
