Anyone have this happened to them before? I plugged in my 2023 Model Y awd into a work older style ChargePoint (white color), just like any other day, and car charged to 85%. It got to 85% and stopped like expected, and I pulled the plug+adapter unit from the car, while I tried to unlatch my adapter, I noticed it was stuck. Couldn't get it off after so many tries, got a flat head screwdriver and went around the edge of the unit with it, finally it came out. Noticed, as pictured, the J1772 adapter (original to the car) was melted, as well as the plug's plastic part that meets the same area melted.

A cause came to mind would be, I dropped it on asphalt 2 days ago, maybe the pin came loose and loose connections cause heat? But it was charging fine a few times after.

I went to service department the next morning and the have a new adapter in stock, so figured $55, its not bad, better then damage to the battery. I asked the service tech if this happened often, and she just responded with we see it happen before, but not common.

Just wanted to see if it ever happen to anyone here and what might have caused this.
