Help with highlight toner

I got highlights that turned out very white when I was going for natural golden highlights. I went back and got it toned down but I think the toner is washing out because my hair is getting lighter. Is there any shampoo or toner I can use at home to make it golden? All I see if purple shampoo that will just keep it white. Any advice is welcome! Thank you!
