Structural Engineer to Site
I need advice. more than a month na akong jr SE (first job) and everyone's nice naman sa office, di mabigat workload and decent pay. pero i find it extremely boring hahahha nakakatamad mag aral ng codes and everything parang di ata to para sa akin.
i know other engineers would kill for this opportunity. i enjoyed solving design problems kasi during BE review and got a high rating sa PSAD kaya i wanted to try if maeenjoy ko din ba yung structural design field, pero everyday tinatamad na akong magtanong ng magtanong. Naf-feel ko din na mas excited ako pag may site visit kami.
During my ojt, mas nakikita kong fulfilling maging site engineer pero i understand na mas nakakapagod, mainit, and malala overtime. I think masyadong technical ang SE for me and mas prefer ko sumunod sa plano instead of making it myself.
That said, one month pa lang naman ako dito. Plano kong magstay for 6 months or more muna to see then if not for me talaga baka lumipat na ako ng site or find BIM opportunities. Am i on the right track ba or im fumbling a great career opportunity?
