Hello everyone,

My partner is a non Danish eu citizen. We're not married. We want to come to Denmark for a few weeks for tourism and get to know the place and return back to our non-EU country of residence. Main thing I'm looking for is if anyone has personally experienced applying for a short term visa as a family member of a EU citizen where you're unmarried cohabitating partners with that European citizen.

From this link https://nyidanmark.dk/en-GB/You-want-to-apply/Short-stay-visa/Visa-after-the-EU-rules

It seems we're are eligible because we have been living together for 3 years.

The only concern I have is on the embassy website and this website, we cannot see what proof they want us to give. Do we mainly show things like

  1. Rental contract

  2. Joint bank account statements

  3. Photos

  4. Utility bills

There doesn't seem to be any clear directions for this pathway on embassy websites because they mainly ask for marriage certificates.

If anyone has applied for this visa through this pathway, I would appreciate learning what you submitted and what was the process.
