S.O.S 6-7 week old kitten won't poop!
just found a stray(?) kitten monday morning inside the hood of my mom's car. he was pretty small so we assumed he was much younger and ended up giving him a mix of kitten milk replacement and kitten wet food which he happily ate. we noticed his anus was slightly flared out and some pinkish-red things poking out (it almost looked like he had hemorrhoids). we decided on monday to take him to the vet the next morning since our local urgent care was closed and the emergency vet is quite expensive. upon arriving to the vet his flared anus had subsided almost completely but he still hadn't pooped. the vet suggested he most likely has worms and gave him some dewormer but it has been about 10 hours since our visit and still no sign of any poop! we are worried he may be super constipated or even impacted if he had ate something outside he shouldn't have. i plan on revising the urgent care office in the morning but would love any advice/tips to help him in the meantime!
he is very playful and not at all lethargic, but did vomit phlegm about an hour ago. i assumed it might've have been because it has been a couple hours since my sister last fed him (i was at work) and his stomach was empty. we have also been watering down his wet food since the vet visit. any help is appreciated!
