Is it actually possible right now to grow an X account without putting tons of money into ads?
New alt account, but I’ve been on Reddit for a lot of years. On Reddit, I have never needed ads to build an account. It has always been a process of interacting naturally, talking like I would talk to a friend, posting about stuff that I find genuinely interesting and genuinely want to share and engage about.
X feels very unnatural and forced. It’s been months and if I stop constantly engaging for even one day, my account seems to lose all momentum and go back to almost nothing and it’s a very slow very intense grind. I have experimented with ads and was able to make a strategy that reliably allows me to gain followers with ads but the views that you get from followers seems unreliable at this point. Am I missing something? Should I just keep getting as many followers as possible for as little ad spend as possible?
Tbh it’s a huge bummer using X because it doesn’t feel rewarding to use it, it feels like a total inauthentic money vacuum.
