Need to know if I have any options for buying a car
So I have a complicated situation right now. I need a vehicle as soon as possible. I have a job making a decent amount of money. The problem is that I have had health issues and have been on unpaid medical leave for the past 5 weeks. I'm due to go back to work a week from today. This morning, my car broke down. I had it towed to a mechanic and he said the transmission needs to be replaced. I can't afford to do that, but I desperately need a vehicle. I can provide proof of employment and proof of the unpaid medical leave, and that I am cleared medically to return to work next Monday, but I don't know if that will be sufficient since I can't provide any recent pay stubs. I really don't know what to do and am looking for anyone that might know some dealer that would work with me under these conditions or have some other option. By the way, I don't live anywhere near public transportation and have to leave for work at 5:30 a.m. anyway.
