Hello. I'm designing and stitching 101 Sunbonnet Sue patterns! Here are my latest hand and machine appliqué blocks.
"Hi everyone! I’ve always had a soft spot for the 'Little girl with the Big Hat'. I’m currently working on a personal challenge to create 101 different patterns, mixing traditional hand and machine appliqué with a more modern feel. All stitched with European cottons.
I am just creating them for now, and I'm not sure yet what I'll do with them. Please excuse me for using the 'Finished Quilt' flair, as I couldn't find the 'WIP' one!
Anyway, I want Sue to be modern, full of life—in a word, alive!
