I’m waiting on the 1890 CC from PCGS and praying I don’t get a details grade for the toning. However, still a beauty stored in a Wayte Raymond album for decades and hoping for the best. The 1921 Morgan is my favorite toner though, followed by the Mexican Peso (even tho it’s only .100 silver). Let’s see them toners!

1913-A Brazil 2000 Reis Continuous Legend NGC AU58 - Stunning Monster Toner 🌈 It is a rainbow of purple, magenta, blue swirling on the obverse. The reverse is lustrous with golden orange toning, probably the nicest example of this coin I’ve ever seen in terms of toning. I truly think this one is under-graded but I digress. This is a high-grade example of one of the most famous emergency counterstamp issues in Latin American history. In 1894, to address a severe currency shortage, Guatemala officially counterstamped foreign silver coins (mostly Peruvian Soles) to allow them to circulate as legal tender in Guatemala.

1913-A Brazil 2000 Reis Continuous Legend NGC AU58 - Stunning Monster Toner 🌈 It is a rainbow of purple, magenta, blue swirling on the obverse. The reverse is lustrous with golden orange toning, probably the nicest example of this coin I’ve ever seen in terms of toning. I truly think this one is under-graded but I digress. 1877 Brazil 1000 Reis UNC Details NGC. Up for sale is a legitimate rarity for collectors of Brazilian Imperial silver: the 1877 1000 Reis. This is the absolute key date to the later series of Pedro II coinage and is rarely seen in high-grade holders.
