Today I Went to an HP petrol pump today to renew PUC for my Activa. Board clearly said ₹65.
But as soon as the guy saw my Rajasthan number plate, he said ₹130.
His explanation:
“₹65 is for 6 months now… new rule from April.”
But here’s the weird part:
He gave me a receipt for ₹65 only, while asking me to pay ₹130.
When I asked for a proper ₹130 receipt, he said rates aren’t updated but I still have to pay that amount.
Felt really off.
Is this actually a rule change in Karnataka or just another way to overcharge outsiders?
Anyone else faced this?
