Hey guys, I typically stay away from electricity as far as DIY goes but this one was “supposedly” an easy fix so I’m here. The old homeowner had the can light housing just free floating and the light itself didn’t fit. So now it’s just secured with screws. The Halo LED recess lights I bought don’t have a way to stay connected to the housing. What am I doing wrong? I noticed the housing doesn’t have clips inside like a lot I’m seeing online do. Do I just need to replace the entire housing or did I just buy the wrong light? TYIA. Sorry if redundant.
