Pairs Speed Time: 49:43 for our first go. I was pretty happy that we were under an hour considering how tricky this one was.

We finished this one yesterday in 38 minutes and 12 seconds! So happy with this time! The puzzle was lovely to do and so cute! I love anything with cats!

Did this puzzle yesterday and set our record pairs time! Total time was 55 minutes and 55 seconds with a partner. This is the first time I've ever done a 500 piece puzzle in under an hour. I loved this one and would absolutely recommend it.

I ended up getting a new puzzle for Mother's Day today and we set a NEW record! I will be posting that one next!

Another pretty challenging speed puzzle choice. Pairs time: 2 hours and 8 minutes. I added one mid way pic for fun. I think this would be a super cool one to do a time lapse video with.

Very tough for a speed puzzle. Finished in 2 hours and 11 minutes with a partner. We agreed we won't be speed puzzling this one again. It was tedious and not very enjoyable.

Speed puzzled with a partner and completed in 1hr 23mins. This was a first time solve and I was super pleased with that time as its only our second pairs speed puzzling attempt.

This puzzle was very enjoyable and I would say it is quite approachable for anyone! It never got frustrating or boring and we made really steady progress the whole time.

"Autumn Riches" - Ravensburger 500 piece

This absolutely looks like AI, right? It ended up being extremely challengeing because a lot of the shapes were unnatural, the coloring was inconsistent, and it was blotchy and muddled throughout. Check out my close up photos for a few examples.

I ordered it online with only a percursory glance, but when I started sorting the pieces I realized certain things were odd. I checked the image on the box closer and found a lot of red flags. I avoid the Amazon brands because of all the AI slop, but I expected so much better from Ravensburger. Has this happened to anyone else? What are your thoughts on the matter?

I will be diligently vetting all my puzzle purchases now!

I have been a little sick and decided to give speed puzzling a try (maybe not the best idea with a head cold). I did the Harry Potter-Thomas Kinkaid Silver Select by Buffalo (500 pieces) with a partner in 2:20:15. I finished the Star Wars R Series Droid puzzle by Buffalo (500 pieces) in 2:41:28. The Harry Potter puzzle was a bit dark and muddled in places (I also struggled with bad glare on all the dark areas) but the limited color pallete and lack of shading meant there was a lot more trial and error in the Droid puzzle.

Not as much progress as I had hoped for, but hopefully next month I finish up those few that are close to being panned.
