Please, spread the word. The value websites are turning a kid's game into a profittable business for them. We must stop using these sites.

Please, spread the word. The value websites are turning a kid's game into a profittable business for them. We must stop using these sites.

It is not an elve vs amvgg situation: Both of them are involved in this and both of them are equally bad. Don't fight over which one is better. We have to stop this, only the community can. The same way we all decided to use them once, we must decide to ditch them! We need a fair, non corrupt way to measure values. The more people that realize this, the better. Spread the word as much as you can if you agree with this 🙏

Adopt Me devs, please, save your game. Value websites have turned this game into a business.

I have been playing on and off, but consistently, since 2021. And it's honestly very sad to see the state of this game now. I'm sure everyone can see this.

Websites, especially Elvebredd, are inflating the high tiers values artificially while making everything stagnate or lose value. This only has one purpose: They're selling these pets for real money.

The most common method to calculate real money value for pets is multiplicating their value in elve by 0.25-0.35, that gives them the price in dollars. Elve makes all the high tiers go up once or even twice a week! The bat dragon went up by 200+ since the year started!! This is disgusting. Outside people (and most likely full grown adults) are controlling a kid's game to get real money from it! A frost dragon is more expensive in real money than what a bat dragon was 2 years ago, it's all a business!

It's the same procedure for "exotic" pets, like balloon unicorn and African wild dog recently. They hoard these pets, make them gain value, then trade it for high tiers. And then the hype dies and regular people suffer the consequences.

You have to understand something: The appealing part of the game IS trading. It is not new pets, it is not events. It has been TRADING for years. But the value system is extremely corrupted now. The bots farm all the new pets making them worthless. You need 5+ mega legendaries in game for a single turtle. Bat dragon, the best pet in the game, is harder to get than that a neon shadow was 2 years ago! Its total value in elve is way higher than even neon bat dragon in 2024!

New players eventually quit because getting to a good value now is basically impossible, experienced people end up leaving the game, getting hacked or scammed. Soon, only the hoarders, sellers and buyers will be left. And it will be totally impossible to get a mega shadow or mega bat dragon starting from zero, if it isn't already.

I can't even find a mega bat dragon to offer for. Many high tiers are stuck being bought and sold. And mega bat dragon is ridiculously inflated, you can even barely get it with 2 mega shadow dragons... A new player cant even dream about getting a bat dragon, imagine a mega version!

You are the only one with more reach than the value websites. Please, I don't want to see this game dying, I love Adopt Me, and trading was so entertaining back then. Your philosophy of "happy values" doesn't work - Values exist and it's good that they do, but not this way. Not controlled by a group of malicious people who can't care less about the game and its community.

My suggestion: Get actual people that are experienced in this game and make your own value system. I would help with it without hesitation and I'm sure others would too. You're the only one who can do it. The value sites are too established and almost everyone uses them, there's no other way. People are forced to even if they don't want to, because everyone else does. You have to acknowledge your game is still alive primarily thanks to trading and values, it's the core part of it. Save it before it's too late!!

Note: This is copy-pasted from a feedback I made om the Adopt Me discord server. I know there's a 99.99% chance this post won't be read by an actual developer of the game. I'm just trying to spread the word on a serious subject. The more people that stop using websites, the better! We need a non corrupt way to measure values!

When do you think was the best era of the game?

I didn't play Winter 2019, as I started in 2021, but from what people say it sounded so fun. No value sites or anything, everyone played to have fun and everyone could get to a decent value easily. I'm sure there was still some roleplay going on lol

Does anyone remember the first heavily manipulated exotic?

(Note: This is not my trade, I did some with diamond butterflies at the time but I didn't save them.)

And to this point no other pet has rivaled the absurd value diamond butterfly reached 2 years ago. Mega diamond butterfly was (for like 20 minutes lol) the best pet in the game, it was even getting mega bat dragon. Since then, value manipulation of exotics have become staple and something that happens from time to time, simply accepted.

Trading!

Those are all my pets minus a few randoms, feel free to offer for anything. Not picky at all with most of the second section.

I myself have been playing since 2021. I remember 2 bat dragons needed good adds for a mega evil unicorn, now mega evil unicorn can't even get a regular bat dragon. 2 high tiers are starting to get neon + adds. It feels SO wrong.
