Looking for financial advice.
Where have people gone for home renovation loans, that doesn't involve the SEAI one stop shop? I see bank of Ireland offer 5% green renovation loans. The loan would be in the region of 10-20k. Is it possible to apply for green loans whilst only 50% of the loan may be used for making the home more energy efficient? (As a new bathroom wouldn't be considered a 'green' upgrade)
Living in an old house which requires a flat roof replacement. Also looking at getting a bathroom, fireplace and solar complete. I do have some cash to fund one or 2 projects. However, this would be my emergency fund and would prefer to leave this untouched.
