we're looking at st joes catholic academy for our rising high schooler... my kid does way better in a super-small school environment and one of their good friends is going to go to sjca but i'm looking to hear any thoughts/experiences. i have a few specific concerns but welcome ANY info.
it looks like most of the faculty have only been there since 2023ish (including the principal? someone told me he's not credentialed but idk them)
i know it's a Catholic school but it seems like it's a little heavy-handed w this: pray four times everyday? is that normal for catholic schools? (im not catholic)
i heard that they did some school trip to DC to attend the March for Life, which, if that was funded from tuition money makes this a hard no for me
do they really do some kind of proselytizing training? cause... idk about that
