sorry if this violates guidelines, wasn’t sure who or how to ask this! i’ve been a grocery store cake decorator for 5 years and had a customer that runs her own cake decorating business come in and ask if i knew how to make roses, i said of course (attached is my roses for reference) and she asked if she paid me, would i go to her house and teach her how to make roses. after talking to my manager to make sure there was no issues with that (and also telling him my exact location and time that i will be there), i told her i would totally do that and she said great ill venmo you, but we never agreed on a price… my roses are very nice in my opinion and this woman lives in the most affluent neighborhood in the city, would charging like $200 for demonstration and education be too much? i don’t want to sell myself short but i don’t want to ask for too much.

tldr: woman told me she would pay me to teach her how to make buttercream roses, not sure what i should charge :/

any advice helps!! tia
