Hello fellow EU‑career aspirants,

I applied for the AD7 Data Management & Knowledge competition (tomorrow are the tests) and I’m a bit unsure about the Field-related MCQ and EUFTE tests, which feel much less concrete than the parts.

1) Field‑related MCQs:
The notice just says “field‑related”, but data management is huge (governance, quality, metadata, knowledge management, EU context, technical aspects, etc.).

My questions are:

  • Are the MCQs more conceptual or technical?
  • More EU/public‑sector oriented or generic data‑management theory?
  • Do they test breadth over depth?
  • Is there going to be any coding questions?

2) EUFTE – writing test:
EPSO published the EU document, but I’m unclear on the expected output. I have heard it could be:

  • a briefing note,
  • an article/internal note,
  • a speech, or
  • a Q&A.

My questions:

  • Do we know more concretely which format to write?
  • Roughly how much text do they expect in 40 minutes?

My guess: ~10 min to read/structure, ~30 min to write → focus on structure and clarity rather than length.

Any tips or experiences welcome. Thanks and good luck to everyone!
