Seeing how we're probably not getting Makoto in season 4, I wanted to further develop redesign ideas I had for her and practice new techniques for linart and shading. This is Makoto after finishing her father wish to rebuild the dojo, but before fully becoming the master of Rindokan (hence brown belt, second highest dan in karate, to show her in progress nature, her original gi and belt was literally her father's). Black gi with white highlights to emphasize her aggressive nature and to make her stand out from other white gi karate practitioners in fighting games. Longer hair is bunched up in the over the top ponytail by the yellow sash she had in the original costume. The intent with the sleeve was, to give her additional cloth for action lines and follow through (she had that with the yellow sash in the original costume) she wears only one of the sleeves, letting the other one hang loose.
