I went to a Derby Party, watched the Oaks/Derby casts and even watched the local news coverage of the Derby Eve galas, and it felt like it was kind of a down year overall, less celebrities, less people in the stands, and less people at the party I was at.

Is there any numbers to back this up that it was slower year as of viewership and/or attendance?
