I've had my snake plant, Severus, for maybe 2-3 years, and he's always been very healthy. A weird thing happened. I had a small succulent next to it, and one day thought, "here shake hands and be friends" and simply turned one of the pots to make their leaves touch. Ever since then both plants have been looking more and more sickly, and although it seems silly that that could've been the cause, it's the only change that lines up.
For a while after I got him I was overwatering him (hence the curled floppy leaves) and quickly learned better since then. I haven't ever given him any plant food, because he's always been healthy. Haven't repotted yet either. He sits in a south facing window sill.
Severus is very important to me, and I really want to save him. I don't know if he's ready for a new (larger) pot, but read that if you do this before they need it that it can kill them, and also that it shouldn't need it unless roots are growing through the bottom (they aren't).
Please... what should I do? Thank you.
