Hi All , I have one client I get paid as a 1099 for , it’s about $70k per year , I basically do some bookkeeping and consulting for them . Also I did one individual tax return for my brothers friend . I don’t do any audit stuff and my main client is a small private company . What entity should I form ??? Should I just stay a sole proprietor or be a PC professional corp and elect SCorp status , also what should I pay myself as a reasonable compensation. Also I had this same client even before I got my CPA license if that makes any difference.
