Will this tape switch attachment method work?

Got 3mm screws, washers and bolts at a hardware store to attach through the handguards and added a drop of blue Loctite. It's tight to the point that I almost needed to screw the threads around the edge edge of the holes in heat shield.

  1. With how tight the clearance is, should I be concerned about durability under recoil and heat from the barrel?
  2. In terms of heat dissipation, should I be concerned that the flashlight mount and tape switch cover both open top vent holes?

Any other thoughts or suggestions?
