Hi! I’m on a Samsung Galaxy S25 with One UI 7 and I currently still have access to Secure Folder while using Google Family Link.

I’ve been delaying the One UI 8 / Android 16 update for months because I heard Samsung patched the Secure Folder workaround with Family Link.

I’ve seen mixed reports:

- some people say Secure Folder gets deleted right after updating,

- others say it only gets blocked after Family Link checks device policies,

- and some people say theirs still works.

So I wanted to ask:

Has anyone here updated to One UI 8 on a Samsung phone while already having Family Link enabled?

And if yes:

- Did Secure Folder disappear immediately after the update?

- Did it only get blocked later?

- Or did it keep working normally?
