my 11 month old will be starting daycare soon. currently she is rocked to sleep completely. she has excellent soothing skills during MOTN wake ups or transitions in her nap, but she doesn’t do well with the initial going to sleep part.

my daycare provider said she will do the best she can to help her fall asleep but she can’t guarantee she’ll be able to rock her completely to sleep so I think I need to start working on some independent sleep for the beginning of her naps.

any tips for helping her learn how to self soothe? currently if I put her down before she’s asleep she starts crying right away
