We were in line waiting to pay at Burk Fuel (corner of William St & Kenwick Link) around 1:00am on 30 April when this happened.

A woman began speaking to the queue, telling people many of whom appeared to be immigrants — that we don’t deserve to be here.

Unprovoked and unnecessary. Everyone was just waiting their turn.

Sharing this because it honestly wasn’t okay, and no one should be spoken to like that.

Perth is better than this. Curious if anyone else has experience anything like this?
