I am so confused by so many conflicting facts.

My bf is on bootcamp currently and his A school will be in great lakes as well. I'm unable to make it to graduation. We know A school comes in phases and that he will not have his phone for several weeks later untill after good inspections and things. However, from what I'm seeing, because of the phases, he will not get to come back to our hometown untill he retires. Or at least several yrs after school.

I'm seeing that there is NO liberty allowed during aA or C school beyond overnight .

So the only way I'll get to see him in the next 2.5 yrs is to visit Chicago myself right? But as I'm seeing, during all stages ofi every, he has to have a liberty buddy with him . So even if he had over night on a weekend , his buddy must be there too. If I'm understanding this correctly that means no alone time with him at all right?

This is frustrating to me even though I grew up in a navy family, my dad was retired by time I was born. But I feel frustrated that the men are treated like kids having to be babysat. I know, it's the military and I get it. But hopefully you can understand my slight frustration. I mean it's be nice if grown men could see their family , wives, gfs and such without 3 buddies hanging on at all times.

Please help me understand this if I'm wrong. Or if Google has it wrong.

I've also had people argue with me saying he gets his phone as soon as he gets to A school. But he was told by some commander no phones first 2 weeks at least. I'd just like some consistency in rules because I'm lost.
