I’ve been rewatching the show and I’m currently on episode 10 of season 8. I remember now how annoyed I was when I watched it originally because the no humanity plot lines are soooo over done for Damon and Stefan throughout the show, but then it made me realize we never got any episodes where Damon and Stefan both had their humanity off at the same time. They were close to it with the Cade storyline, but it’s like the moment that Stefan lost control, Damon’s empathy started coming back.

I’m curious how murderous things would have been if they had been empathy-free at the same time lol.
