I did something brave today
So im 16 and pretty scrawny guy 5'4 and not very tough looking. I was minding own business and i went to the bathroom to take relieve myself. I saw four jocks from our schools hockey team passing around and sucking on a vaporizing nicotine device whilst throwing OBSCENITIES. Usually i'd leave them alone but not today. I stood my ground and I said "you guys should really not being doing that. im telling". One guy was like "what the fuck?" Then I walked away and they all laughed at me. I felt my stomach drop, hard. I was so embarassed. They knew i wouldn't do shit. But i swallowed up and bunched up my fists, gathrered up every bit of confidence i had and i walked to the NEAREST classroom and I stood there for a few seconds. I look inside and its ALL grade 12's. they all stare at me. I heard one guy whisper "whats an eighth grader doing here". My breath shortens and i feel my eyes water and my adrenaline spike. I stare at the teacher for a few seconds and i say "i- i-" then i stop. regain my composure, breathe. you got this. "I saw some guys vaping in the bathroom" I see some people giggle. The teacher says "thank you for telling me, could you point them out to me?" relief washes over me as i exit the class and i point to to the guys leaving the bathroom. She pulls them aside and confiscates EVERYTHING. I stand there, beaming ear to ear. You should've seen the looks on their faces. they were so pissed haha. Im so glad i stood my ground. it really goes to show what confidence can do for a guy like me. Anyways im writing this in fourth period science class, just thought i'd share something brave i did today haha. they might even get suspended, i hope.
