First FPV repair attempt 😅

I removed the broken motor wires from the ESC pads and cleaned them up as much as I could.
Does the solder look okay for soldering the new motor wires later, or should I redo/clean anything first?

It’s my first time soldering on a quad, so any advice is welcome 🙏🚁

DJI OSMO ACTION 2

After my first real FPV crash and repair adventure, I’ve been thinking a lot about cameras for freestyle and cinematic flying.

Right now I’m using a free GoPro Hero5 Session from a friend, and honestly… I really love the small cube form factor for FPV.

When I get paid, I’m seriously considering buying a DJI Action 2 (around 120-130€ used in my area). It looks super lightweight and perfect for freestyle while still having really good image quality for TikTok/Reels/Instagram cinematic clips.

For people who use the Action 2 on 5-inch quads:
- how bad is the overheating really?
- is it reliable for FPV?
- how does it compare to a Hero5 Session?
- still worth it in 2026?

Would love to hear opinions before I buy one 👀

First real crash with my Nazgul5 today 😅

First real crash with my Nazgul5 today 😅

I broke one arm and the motor wires got cut in half, but surprisingly the FC, ESC, VTX, camera and the other motors are all still working perfectly after testing everything in Betaflight.

Already ordered:
- new arm
- replacement motor
- soldering kit

Looks like my first real FPV repair is about to begin 😂

Any tips for replacing the arm and soldering the motor wires for a beginner?
