I thrift old books and I have some I just unburied from my childhood bedroom. They have stains which could be mold or just dirt and/or foxing.

Has anyone ever used a mold test kit to figure out if their books were moldy? I don’t trust myself to guess right and I don’t want to get rid of the books (especially if they’re just foxed or dirty).

I was stuck in a room with a dog barking for twenty minutes. Because I’m me and ocd I measured the barks (105 decibels). Now I’m worried I’ll get hearing loss.

What do I do to calm down? I was meant to be babysitting the dog so it wouldn’t bite some movers. Now I’m wishing I had just left the room anyway. I’m mad at myself, and the ocd. I hate this.
