sudden huge breakout

hi everyone! i started having a very bad jaw/chin acne about two months ago (it kept getting worse, nothing was helping) so i went to the doctors to get my hormones checked, blood sugar (due to diabetes risk) and ofc to the dermatologist (started isotretinoin a week ago).

all my test came back absolutely perfect, hormones are totally okay, blood sugar, everything. jas anyone ever experienced a very nasty sudden breakout like that? i didn’t have any diet changes/any lifestyle changes. I eat healthy, i don’t smoke or drink and i regularly exercise. the only difference might be starting korean skincare, but could it cause such an extreme reaction, especially without actives and even after stopping it?

thank you for any help/advice!

how to properly treat the skin while on accutane?

hi! how do you all do it while being on isotretinoin? my skin is my biggest insecurity and even tho i’m already seeing a difference i just sometimes cant help the urge to still pick on my skin or peel the dry skin. i’ve only ever had mild acne and about 3 months ago i started having bad cystic breakout that constantly open or itch. is there any product/trick that could help me with this feeling? also something that could help me heal the redness in the meantime? thank you!
