I want to learn how to scream

But I don’t know how. On top of that I can’t sing for shit. I genuinely think im tone deaf or something bc I can’t match a note when im singing along to a song. I know folk punk is a genre of music where people can express themselves without having perfect skills in music so I want to give it a shot but im not sure where to begin with learning. I don’t want to hurt myself and I want to learn how to scream properly. Any advice?

I need help and guidance on how to start writing my first folk punk song.

Hey guys, so I am an absolute beginner when it comes to music. I recently acquired a ukulele and I want to start writing my first folk punk song, as it’s my favorite genre of music but I am struggling to find help.

I don’t know anything about playing music, reading music, making music, writing lyrics etc. it’s a completely different language to me and I am an absolute beginner in the way a kid would be. On top of that I have some disabilities and I’m a very slow learner and struggle to grasp new concepts. Uke is my first instrument.

I’m trying to learn chords to write a folk punk song but idk where to start because i can’t find any YouTube videos or library books to help me (seriously how the hell does anyone learn anything???) I don’t have money for lessons, so my only choice is to self teach but it feels very hard and kind of impossible rn. I’ve been watching YouTube videos on how to learn chords on uke in general but I still can’t seem to find or figure out which chords are important for folk punk specifically. Any guidance would be very helpful. I don’t want people to think I’m stupid for asking for this kind of help but I’m
Seriously at a loss and I don’t understand how anyone can learn music related stuff without paying an arm and a leg for lessons or something lmao. I’m an old dog trying to learn new tricks please help me…
