Summer House Subletting
Hi, I was wondering what the most logical solution to this problem would be! So I bought a house with 3 other roommates (4 total), the rent per month is $2400, so $600/person/month, the lease starts may. None of the original tenants are living in the house over the summer, however one of the tenants has a sister that is willing to live at the house from June-August. We are making her pay $600/month, but the tenant wants it to cover only her part instead of splitting the $600 amongst all 4 of us. My plan was to have the sister pay $600/month and subtract that from the total $2400 = $1800 and the four original tenants split the $1800 so $450/month, because we are all not staying there just the sister. Also this subletting plan is being done under the table.
