Mom to a 10 month old and our Nanny has been with us for 4 months, doing a great job.

I wanted to show some acknowledgement and appreciation that she is an important caretaker and influencer in my child’s life. I was thinking about giving her some flowers the Friday before Mother’s Day and some sort of note of appreciation. Does it that seem weird to tie it to Mother’s Day? Should I wait and just do it randomly or maybe at the 6 months anniversary?
