Now, to preface. I’m aware this game may have not been everyone’s ‘cup of tea’, and that many fans didn’t like it.
But, it’s been a run.
I stumbled into Bloodhunt when I was bored in 2022 and looking for a F2P game. I initially downloaded it because I heard about its character creation, however the gameplay, the lore, the atmosphere kept me playing. I loved everything about it; the theme of Vampires, the ambience, the music, the map was beautiful too. A lot of effort went into the art of this game. The streets, despite being desolate, felt alive. I’d spend matches in awe at the level design.
I played on and off, but I was still devastated when I heard this game was shutting down. Unlike other BRs, I never had an issue with Bloodhunt. It was a genuinely great experience and one of the better BRs I’ve played. I decided that in order to honour its existence, I’ll 100% the game for that Platinum trophy so that I’ll remember this game once existed.
I’m gonna miss it, the game was oddly captivating. Maybe Maia’s Toreador charm worked on me? Who knows. What I do know, is that I’m going to miss this game.
Thank you Sharkmob for a wonderful experience. If it wasn’t for this game, I don’t think I’d have fully delve into the World of Darkness.
