I feel like there was something special about phoning in a take away order. If you were a regular they didn’t even ask your address they just knew and 30minutes later your food was at the door! Cash to a delivery driver! It’s so impersonal now and takes so long to get food. And it’s more expensive than if you went to restaurant/takeaway! Does anyone else remember their Friday night takeaway/delivery experiences? Was it better then or now?! For me it used to be a special end of week treat. Now it’s just an ordinary convenience. (Good for the businesses tho)
