Body/legs all of a sudden hit a wall?

So i have been following a steady beginners marathon training plan. Where i slowly up my mileage, each sunday doing a long run and upping it 1 miles each week and then a 3-5 mile run 4 other days. I did this solid for about 5 weeks feeling amazing. Then last sunday i did an 8 mile, monday rest, a decent 3 mile tuesday, and then Wednesday i was 1 mile into a 4 mile run and my legs just felt exhausted, cold/burning, just done! I couldnt get my heart rate up and I just had no juice. Did I overtrain? How long do I have to rest? It has made me pretty demoralized for training. I always stay VERY hydrated. Just confused!
