General consensus I've read on other subreddits like RealEstateInvesting seems to agree that building is typically a bit more than buying outright for most cases these days. Only when you are very experienced, have networked enough, or are building in large bulk do things become profitable to build.
But does this include things like mortgage rates and location?
When building a new building you can pick a much more optimal location and therefore the same cost of the building could be worth way more in a better location right?
What determines if building is better, exactly? How is this broken down?
