A bit confused with calorie deficit any help would be great.

So the calculator I used said in order to lose a lb a week I need to be at around 2300 calories daily. My question is do I need to burn 2800 calories during a workout. Because today I burned 1300 calories and was left thinking how I’d makeup the rest of the 1500. Any help would be amazing.
