1. Despite still having the US license, MVD have shown zero interest in upgrading it to 4K, and as shown by the 4K releases of AT CLOSE RANGE (Cinématographe; coincidentally also an MGM title) and DRIVE (1997) (88 Films US), other labels have had success in licensing the 4K rights for MVD BDs still in print. Therefore, it could easily fit into the whole UK/US dual territory description.

2. Seemingly sold quite well for Radiance despite it being sourced from the same ancient MGM studio master as the MVD and Shout BDs.

3. Bruno is almost always quite responsive in a reasonably quick fashion to my emails—which says a lot given how often I've emailed over title suggestions generally—so in our recent back and forth when he reached out to me yesterday to confirm THE HOT SPOT 4K will include a remastered BD after all, the last email he sent me was saying he "can tease that our currently planned UHD Upgrades also include titles that will utilise new 4K masters not previously on their Blu-ray releases" but can't promise all of them will have remastered BDs like THE HOT SPOT will in the end due to "a variety of factors." And despite personally not being all too fond of MIAMI BLUES having just watched it last week, I decided to put in the good word for those fond of the film given how clearly aged the current MGM studio master is, while obviously mentioning I know he cannot confirm nor deny whether or not a 4K upgrade is in the cards to begin with. Sure enough, nearly 24 hours later, Bruno still has yet to respond to my most recent reply at all. Make of that whatever you will! ;)

OUT OF PRINT release from Vinegar Syndrome. Bought from a highly reputable seller secondhand sometime back. I've personally never viewed it, but can confirm discs do look to be in excellent shape as was advertised to me.

A bit disappointed it's not remastered like I hoped, but hey, at least their BD still looks more than rock solid from the screencaps I've seen (haven't actually seen the film yet but blind preordering the LE 4K was a no brainer for me), and is of course a Fidelity in Motion encode!

Robert Altman's THIEVES LIKE US standard edition 4K from Cinématographe with the RADIANCE BLU-RAY included instead of the Cinématographe Blu-Ray. The RADIANCE Blu-Ray is admittedly sourced from an older transfer but does have MORE EXTRAS. ***Once again, this disc is REGION B-LOCKED.***

YENTL from BFI, with LIMITED EDITION BOOKLET (only in first-pressings), OUT OF PRINT release in like new/intact condition. Never watched, just missing the outer sealed wrapping. Moving on, this is the Imprint Limited Edition 4K set with ***the CRITERION BLU-RAY included instead of Imprint's own Blu-Ray.*** Criterion's disc is sourced from the exact same 4K remaster, and though it lacks the audio commentary by Matthew Asprey Gear—which is also present on the Imprint 4K—and the featurette "Salute to John Schlesinger: An Englishman in Hollywood," it includes several extras—some exclusive, some archival—NOT present on the Imprint release, particularly the ones created EXCLUSIVELY by and for Criterion. This disc was initially purchased secondhand from an immensely reputable eBay seller (100% positive feedback with over 2,000 items sold) who viewed it only once and it is in intact shape with no scratches (at least from what I can tell). See photo #3 for extras included on this disc.

Everything else otherwise included with this release—the Imprint 4K, the Bonus Documentary "Desperate Souls…" Blu-Ray, the packaging, etc.,—is here, fully unused and intact. The Imprint 4K and Bonus Documentary discs are both REGION FREE. This item will be carefully packaged in a box with bubble wrap.
