'Gearbox in emergency mode' warning!

I couldn't reverse, turned car on and off , and was able to reverse .Orange engine light stayed on , dove it straight to a local mechanic. Orange engine light cleard.Hes going to plug it in tomorrow and see.

Any experience with this on here?
